Orthopaedic - back to Programs & Services

Physical therapy for orthopaedic injuries involves evaluation, diagnosis and treatment of various musculoskeletal injuries. These injuries can include arthritis, tendinitis, bursitis, sprains, strains among many other possible ailments. Dependent on your particular diagnosis, treatments such as stretching, joint mobilization, strengthening, motor control training, hot/cold pack, electrical stimulation and ultrasound will help to speed up the healing process to allow for quicker recovery and return to activities that you may had been limited in prior. We can also perform an evaluation for you even before you see your primary care physician (PCP), and based on our findings we can determine whether it is something within our scope of practice that we can treat or if you need to see your PCP for further evaluation.
